I’ve been toying with the idea of a “blog reboot” for a while. I had to move to static rendering a while back, which isn’t ideal if you’re used to more real-time publishing.
I’ve been playing with Wordpress at work and with the linkblog. It’s slick, I can live with editing on the web. There are a lot of things you simply need a database-backed blog to do: good comments, tagging etc.
Russ and Diego have started anew. Should I emulate them?
Update 2007-07-16: I’ve decided to stick with Blosxom. If I can get a fully interactive solution going I can leverage all the stuff I’ve already developed. Having a new look is as simple as hacking the CSS (ha!).
